![]() ![]() ![]() I'll have a butchers on Youtube anyway and see what I can find, but what you said makes perfect Thanks for that tip! I've had Ableton for yonks, but I've never really touched the session/performance side of it! I'll have to get to grips with it. I don't need my automations in seperate "automation clips" & lost all over the place, thank god for track based automations.Yea I get what your saying, especially when it comes to keeping things organised! What I often do is just click the little "+" button to semi-separate the automation which makes it easier to duplicate sections that you want to repeat in certain ways, even over different MIDI lanes. Automations and clip/event/sample whatever you call your objects on your linear grid/table/arrangment view, automations can coexist together or seperately, directly inside the clips of audio or midi and your track!! Being forced to keep it within the tracks, youll never go looking where you put that damn pan automation because you forgot what color you set it when its somewhere, long forgotten in your 96 automation clips. arrangment view has a much better system track automations anyway. Not great but it can be done in session view check it on youtube or google.
